  • UART commands from Terminal program or ATmega328 to TIMI

    Hello BBM,
I would like to send UART commands to my TIMI-130 from an ATmega328 using BASCOM Basic.
Can I send commands the same way I would to an LCD display?
Can I send commands like I would for a terminal program?

    Regards, Larry

    HI Larry,

When using TIMI in Architect or Builder environment, you can refer to the Mates Serial Command Protocol document.

That being said, if you meant if you can do this exactly the same way. Then the answer would be no. The module is programmable/configurable with different types of widgets offering different functionalities. Because of that, you're able to do similar things.

Furthermore, if you use Genius Environment, you can write your own code and therefore, you can decide exactly how you want it to behave.

    Best Regards
